BRIAN D. BIGLIN, General Counsel/Secretary

Mr. Biglin has spent the last quarter century counseling and advising companies with regard to legal issues and business strategies focused on growth and innovation within their industry. He brings that wealth of experience and knowledge to guiding Allegiance Administrators’ evolution into an industry leader in the contract administration space. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Mr. Biglin’s ties to the central Ohio area are very strong. He has also experience representing clients and corporations nationwide for over two decades. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons hiking, fishing and watching the Buckeyes!

BRIAN LESLIE, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Leslie joined the management team at Allegiance Administrators in 2018 as CFO. He brings 17 years of automotive finance and services experience to the company. He holds a C.P.A. and C.F.A. certifications. Mr. Leslie over sees all accounting management for Allegiance with responsibilities that include financial and management reporting

DAWN MURPHY, Chief Operating Officer

Dawn Murphy joined the Allegiance team in September 2020. She comes to us from a 20+ year career at a large publicly traded automotive retailer, where she managed all aspects of extended service plans, GAP and aftermarket accessories. She oversaw relationships with three large third party administrators and continuously looked for ways to increase sales, enhance the customer experience and increase efficiency through the use of technology. Dawn lives in Richmond, VA and will be commuting to Dublin on a frequent basis. In her spare time, she likes to go camping , boating, and travel with her husband and 2 daughters.


BRAD KELLENBERGER, Director of Accounting

DANIELLE GURTLER, Director of Human Resources

In July 2020, Danielle Gurtler joined Allegiance Administrators, LLC, to head the Office of Human Resources. In this role, she oversees all aspects of human resources management. She has proven success in creating cultures of collaboration, and implementing change to achieve workforce excellence. Gurtler is a dynamic HR practitioner with extensive experience in human resources including: recruitment, training and development, benefits administration, classification and compensation, performance management, and payroll. She has a track record of coaching in the areas of transformational leadership and team building, with proven success. Prior to working for Allegiance Administrators, she served for ten years as Director of the Human Resources for TRANSInternational System, one of the largest intermodal transportation companies in the industry. In this position, she successfully served in the role of ‘HR Department of One’ , that provided her the opportunity to work in all areas of HR. Danielle has used her strong human resources background and a blend of experience in various positions within private and publically-traded sectors to affect positive change in the organization's where she's worked. Effectively balancing big picture thinking and strategic planning with hands-on execution has allowed her to combine decisiveness, strong business acumen and formal education to achieve objectives both professionally and personally.

JOE RYAN, Senior VP Sales

Mr. Ryan rejoined the Allegiance Administrators’ sales team in late 2013 in the position of Senior Vice President of Sales. He had left Dimension in the summer of 2011 after spending four years in an Agent Development role.

Mr. Ryan is responsible for assisting Allegiance’s agent partners with developing their business as well as signing new agent partners to the Allegiance partner portfolio.

In the early 1990s, Mr. Ryan began his automotive career with an entry level position at a franchise dealership. Since then, he has held positions of F&I manager, sales manager, general sales manager and general manager. Most recently, prior to his re-joining Allegiance, Mr. Ryan was the GM of a multi-point domestic and import dealership in central Ohio.

In his off time, Mr. Ryan enjoys running and spending time with his three sons. In the winter you’re sure to find him at the local ice rink watching his youngest son play hockey.

MIKE AMAYA, Reinsurance Manager

MIKE GIBSON, Claims Director

Mr. Gibson has been a member of the Allegiance Administrators' team for 19 years, joining Dimension Service Corporation in August of 1999. Mr. Gibson has held numerous roles throughout the organization, recently accepting the leadership role of Claims Director. Mr. Gibson's responsibilities include oversight of claims and claims payment as well as building of programs.

Prior to joining DSC, Mr. Gibson enjoyed many years in automotive dealerships as a parts manager and service advisor for multiple European car lines as well as Ford. Mr. Gibson enjoys watching NCAA football and basketball and attending car shows with his 1972 Chevelle.


Ms. Blackburn-Tiell has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry and joined Dimension Service Corporation in March of 1995. Prior to joining the Allegiance Administrators team she had experience in medical claim administration and commission accounting for an independent broker dealer house. Ms. Blackburn-Tiell has held many positions within our Contract Administration Department, recently adding the oversight of our Customer Service Department and Agent Dealer Services Department to her responsibilities of managing contract administration.

PAUL MILES, Chief Actuary

Mr. Miles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland. Mr. Miles has completed five of the Casualty Actuarial Society examinations and has over 21 years of experience in the actuarial field. Mr. Miles’ background includes experience in actuarial pricing; loss reserve analysis; state filings support; and data systems coordination for Workers' Compensation, commercial lines products, service contracts, and mechanical breakdown insurance at the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, Nationwide Insurance, Beacon Insurance Company and Risk Consultants and Actuaries.

SOMMER L. SHEETS, Director of Compliance

Mrs. Sheets joined Allegiance Administrators in July 2020 as the Director of Compliance. In this role, Sommer will oversee all aspects of Compliance and will implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance. She has over 20 years of experience in the F&I industry which include working over a decade at Dealers Assurance Company and a few years at other Administrators. Mrs. Sheets has been licensed as a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent since 2007 and is also a licensed notary. Sommer resides in the Village of Commercial Point, just South of Columbus with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, you will find her at any Volleyball court watching and rooting for her daughter. She is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and loves to fish and play darts.
